Team Registration Forms

• Registrations from teams must be submitted to WRAC by November 1
• Ringette Alberta must receive team registrations by November 15. If they do not receive a team's registrations by November 15, the team will be fined $200.00

• Fees are $59 / player ($2 - WRAC, $2 Ringette Calgary, $54 Ringette Alberta.

Referee Fees

 

• Ringette Calgary officals who work WRAC games in Calgary will be paid $40 cash prior to the start of the game.
• Ringette Calgary officals who work WRAC games in Springbank will be paid $45 cash prior to the start of the game.
• Only 1 referee will be assigned to each WRAC game.

 

• The Ringette Calgary Referee Assignor will be paid $2 per home game.
• A cheque for the Referee Assignor can be made out to WRAC and mailed to Shelly Laycock by November 3

Message from the President

The Women's Ringette Association of Calgary operates under rules and by-laws outlined by Ringette Canada and Ringette Alberta Policies and Operating procedures. As such, all WRAC players are registered with Ringette Alberta, enjoy the benefits of membership and are eligible to play in provincially sanctioned tournaments in accordance with those rules and by-laws.

 

2008-2009 Report

With the change to the assigning and payment of referees, the 2008-2009 season was a much smoother year with few problems with the referee assigning and payments. We did have some issues at the beginning of the season with regard to rough play and unsportsmanlike conduct. A letter was send out in early January reminding players to respect the game and each other. After this letter was sent out the balance of the season went fairly well.

 

Lets start the 2009-2010 season off right and play nice. If we do not embrace the Ringette Philosophy we may encounter problems getting referees out for the WRAC games.
